Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. This policy explains when an order can be cancelled and how cancellation requests are handled.
1. Order Cancellation
Customers may request cancellation of an order by contacting Desi Origin as soon as possible after placing the order.
Cancellation requests can be accepted only if the order has not yet been processed for dispatch.
2. Cancellation Before Dispatch
If your cancellation request is received before the order has been processed or shipped, we will make reasonable efforts to cancel the order.
For the best chance of cancellation, please contact us immediately after placing your order.
3. Orders Already Shipped
Once an order has been shipped or handed over to the delivery partner, it may not be possible to cancel the order.
In such cases, the order will be handled according to our Return & Refund Policy, where applicable.
4. Cancellation by Desi Origin
In certain situations, we may need to cancel an order. This may include circumstances such as:
- Product availability issues.
- Incorrect or incomplete order information.
- Delivery service limitations.
- Payment or order verification issues.
- Other circumstances that prevent us from fulfilling the order.
5. Refund for Cancelled Orders
If an eligible prepaid order is successfully cancelled before dispatch, the applicable refund will be processed to the original payment method.
The time taken for the refund to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment service provider.
6. COD Orders
For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, customers should contact us as early as possible if they wish to cancel the order.
Once the order has been processed or shipped, cancellation may no longer be possible.
